July, 2007

Traditionally an opportunity for family and friends to gather, summer is also a good time to consider another kind of get-together – assembling your board or your team for a mid-year retreat, or as a recent participant in one of our board visioning & governance workshops said, “this isn’t a retreat, it’s an advance!” Whether your organization is a nonprofit or for-profit, try setting aside some time to get to know your fellow board or team members in an informal setting this summer. You might be surprised at what you learn about each other!
