Whether it is starting a new wine venture, improving the operations of an existing facility, expanding a wine business, developing a vineyard, assessing wine quality, or launching a brand extension, Jack has the breadth of experience to help winery owners achieve success. As founding winemaker for Silverado Vineyards and general manager, Jack helped build the winery into an ultra-premium national wine brand. With nearly thirty years of experience in the wine industry, Stuart is an expert in winery design and operations, vineyard development, wine marketing and public relations, and management.

He brings a wealth of hard-gained knowledge and wisdom to the NewLevel team. His long-time relationships with the wine trade and press are invaluable. Over the years he has worked closely with consultants in all phases of the industry, from well-drillers to graphic designers. He has successfully negotiated the maze of winery permits and regulations, and has helped shepherd two important bills through the state legislature.

Jack has long been acknowledged as one of the best winemakers in Napa Valley, with accolades from The International Wine & Spirit Competition, the Wine Spectator, the Los Angeles Times, and others. Wines made under Stuart's tutelage have received numerous awards and regularly earn high ratings.

A past president of the Napa Valley Vintners, Stuart is also a director of the Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association. He was co-founder of the North Coast Pierce's Disease Task Force and currently is a member of both Winegrowers of Napa County and Napa Valley Wine Alliance.
